Adopt or Foster a Dog

Pet Rescue is dedicated to providing cats and dogs with a second chance to find loving and safe homes.
Dogs currently available for adoption are featured below. New animals are added as they become available.
You can help! Please share their profiles, because every adoption makes room for another deserving pet.

Please be sure to check the status of the dog you may be interested in adopting.  The status of a particular dog will be one of the following:

  • Adoptable - Dog has not yet been adopted out to a family although there may be applications that are still in the process of being evaluated.  In addition, following approval the applicant will meet the dog with their family to make sure it is a good fit.
  • Adoption Pending - Approved applicant has scheduled a meet and greet with the dog and an adoption seems likely.
  • Adopted- Dog has been adopted but will continue to remain our website for a short period of time following the actual adoption.

Please come meet our adoptable dogs at our Meet & Greet, every Saturday from 11:30am - 1:30pm at Pet Rescue, 7 Harrison Ave, Harrison NY 10528. Please call us with any questions you may have about our sweet dogs: 914-835-3332

A little About ZZ Grace and Ollie-Courtesy Listing...

THIS IS A COURTESY LISTING AND HAS NO AFFILIATION WITH PETRESCUE.  PLEASE CONTACT THE OWNER LISTED BELOW DIRECTLY.

Grace(mom) is 6 years old,70 lbs and Ollie is 4 and 55 lbs, and are a mother and son who have lived together in the same home their whole lives and are a bonded pair. They are both spayed/ neutered and crate trained. The are both purebred but do not have papers. They are very lovable huskies and do great around people and children, but are not fond of the company of other dogs. They have done well with other huskies of similar age, size and energy, but not other dogs or animals.  They are house broken and walk nicely on a leash. Their forever home must adopt both dogs, so that they can continue their bonded relationship.  If you have room in your heart for 2, this perfect pair is sure to reward you with a lifetime of loyal companionship. If you are interested in these dogs, please contact nboor1@gmail.com
