Adopt or Foster a Dog

Pet Rescue is dedicated to providing cats and dogs with a second chance to find loving and safe homes.
Dogs currently available for adoption are featured below. New animals are added as they become available.
You can help! Please share their profiles, because every adoption makes room for another deserving pet.

Please be sure to check the status of the dog you may be interested in adopting.  The status of a particular dog will be one of the following:

  • Adoptable - Dog has not yet been adopted out to a family although there may be applications that are still in the process of being evaluated.  In addition, following approval the applicant will meet the dog with their family to make sure it is a good fit.
  • Adoption Pending - Approved applicant has scheduled a meet and greet with the dog and an adoption seems likely.
  • Adopted- Dog has been adopted but will continue to remain our website for a short period of time following the actual adoption.

Please come meet our adoptable dogs at our Meet & Greet, every Saturday from 11:30am - 1:30pm at Pet Rescue, 7 Harrison Ave, Harrison NY 10528. Please call us with any questions you may have about our sweet dogs: 914-835-3332

A little About Trizchia...

Trizchia is a sweet little girl who has a gentle, quiet nature.  She is currently in a foster home with other dogs and gets along with all and is playful. Trizchia's foster mom is working with her to build confidence and she has made good progress. Trizchia enjoys her foster mom's attention...accepting pets, treats and of course belly rubs. Trizchia is currently using wee we pads and  sleeps through the night. Her forever home should be with a family that has experience with shy dogs.  Apartment living will be a little overwhelming for her, so no apartment living for this girl. Trizchia will do well in a house... a quiet environment, with adults and no small children. A canine buddy would be a plus. She currently enjoys playing in her foster home's fenced in yard, but this is not a requirement for her forever home. Trizchia's ideal forever home is one where people are home a good deal of the day, and will work with this sweet girl to help her reach her potential. If you are looking for a forever friend and can help this girl blossom and shine, Trizchia is the girl for you.
