Adopt or Foster a Dog

Pet Rescue is dedicated to providing cats and dogs with a second chance to find loving and safe homes.
Dogs currently available for adoption are featured below. New animals are added as they become available.
You can help! Please share their profiles, because every adoption makes room for another deserving pet.

Please be sure to check the status of the dog you may be interested in adopting.  The status of a particular dog will be one of the following:

  • Adoptable - Dog has not yet been adopted out to a family although there may be applications that are still in the process of being evaluated.  In addition, following approval the applicant will meet the dog with their family to make sure it is a good fit.
  • Adoption Pending - Approved applicant has scheduled a meet and greet with the dog and an adoption seems likely.
  • Adopted- Dog has been adopted but will continue to remain our website for a short period of time following the actual adoption.

Due to the extremely high number of applications we have been receiving, the review process will take anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks.

A little About Willow...

Willow is an incredibly smart girl who loves to be next to her human. Inside, she is about as perfect as a dog can be. She is calm and a great listener. Willow relaxes in her crate while her humans are away, and sleeps comfortably in her crate through the night . She also knows sit, stay, come, down, leave it, heal, get back and even some fancy tricks like "circle" and "middle" where she'll walk between her human's legs. Willow also knows how to hold a "place" command. Willow had a rough start in life and was found as a stray. She loves people and is sweet as can be when she gets to know someone, but takes a little time to feel comfortable. She is not a fan of other dogs or cats and wants to be your one and only 4 legged family member.  Willow will do best in a quiet, adult household with a fenced yard, and a quiet neighborhood environment.
