Adopt or Foster a Dog

Pet Rescue is dedicated to providing cats and dogs with a second chance to find loving and safe homes.
Dogs currently available for adoption are featured below. New animals are added as they become available.
You can help! Please share their profiles, because every adoption makes room for another deserving pet.

Please be sure to check the status of the dog you may be interested in adopting.  The status of a particular dog will be one of the following:

  • Adoptable - Dog has not yet been adopted out to a family although there may be applications that are still in the process of being evaluated.  In addition, following approval the applicant will meet the dog with their family to make sure it is a good fit.
  • Adoption Pending - Approved applicant has scheduled a meet and greet with the dog and an adoption seems likely.
  • Adopted- Dog has been adopted but will continue to remain our website for a short period of time following the actual adoption.

  4. Complete the Adoption Application and submit

A little About Alex...

Meet Alex! This handsome, friendly 5-year-old boy is completely housebroken and is enjoying the company of each family member in his foster home. He is affectionate and loves snuggling up on the couch to watch TV… but is also quite spunky, and loves to run around and play with toys. Alex is curious and enjoys going on walks to explore all the wonderful smells that his nose leads him to. When he wants attention, he can get a little mouthy like a puppy but is getting much better. He knows basic commands like “sit” and is learning how to “stay” — and sleeps peacefully all night on a dog bed next to his foster family. He is a nice size at 36 lbs and packs a ton of personality … and is ready to start a new life in his forever home!
