Adopt or Foster a Dog

Pet Rescue is dedicated to providing cats and dogs with a second chance to find loving and safe homes.
Dogs currently available for adoption are featured below. New animals are added as they become available.
You can help! Please share their profiles, because every adoption makes room for another deserving pet.

Please be sure to check the status of the dog you may be interested in adopting.  The status of a particular dog will be one of the following:

  • Adoptable - Dog has not yet been adopted out to a family although there may be applications that are still in the process of being evaluated.  In addition, following approval the applicant will meet the dog with their family to make sure it is a good fit.
  • Adoption Pending - Approved applicant has scheduled a meet and greet with the dog and an adoption seems likely.
  • Adopted- Dog has been adopted but will continue to remain our website for a short period of time following the actual adoption.

Please come meet our adoptable dogs at our Meet & Greet, every Saturday from 11:30am - 1:30pm at Pet Rescue, 7 Harrison Ave, Harrison NY 10528. Please call us with any questions you may have about our sweet dogs: 914-835-3332

A little About Aria...

Aria is a well behaved, happy, confident and sweet dog. She is a smart girl, already housebroken, who quickly learns new tricks.  She walks nicely on the leash, loves a good game of "tug of war", and loves going on long walks... but also enjoys a nap on her bed. Aria is not a fan of cats or other dogs, but on a walk can be distracted with a treat (she loves bacon!) for staying focused on her human, and ignoring other dogs. Aria will do best in an adult household, or one with older children.
