Adopt or Foster a Dog

Pet Rescue is dedicated to providing cats and dogs with a second chance to find loving and safe homes.
Dogs currently available for adoption are featured below. New animals are added as they become available.
You can help! Please share their profiles, because every adoption makes room for another deserving pet.

Please be sure to check the status of the dog you may be interested in adopting.  The status of a particular dog will be one of the following:

  • Adoptable - Dog has not yet been adopted out to a family although there may be applications that are still in the process of being evaluated.  In addition, following approval the applicant will meet the dog with their family to make sure it is a good fit.
  • Adoption Pending - Approved applicant has scheduled a meet and greet with the dog and an adoption seems likely.
  • Adopted- Dog has been adopted but will continue to remain our website for a short period of time following the actual adoption.

Due to the extremely high number of applications we have been receiving, the review process will take anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks.

A little About Loki...

Loki is an energetic little jumping bean.  He is sweet, friendly and affectionate and enjoys a good cuddle. Give Loki a squeaky toy or a ball and he'll be your best friend. He loves car rides, is great with other dogs and enjoys endless play.  He will do well in a home with another dog who loves to play. He is housebroken if kept on a schedule. Loki is a little package, but has a lot to say while on a walk. He’s a vocal guy, with just about everyone and everything he meets, be it dogs, people, trucks, bicycles.  City living will probably be a little too exciting for Loki, and he will do best in a quiet neighborhood. He’s a lovable, adorable little pooch, who has charmed the volunteers at Petrescue, and can't wait to charm his forever family.
