Adopt or Foster a Dog

Pet Rescue is dedicated to providing cats and dogs with a second chance to find loving and safe homes.
Dogs currently available for adoption are featured below. New animals are added as they become available.
You can help! Please share their profiles, because every adoption makes room for another deserving pet.

Please be sure to check the status of the dog you may be interested in adopting.  The status of a particular dog will be one of the following:

  • Adoptable - Dog has not yet been adopted out to a family although there may be applications that are still in the process of being evaluated.  In addition, following approval the applicant will meet the dog with their family to make sure it is a good fit.
  • Adoption Pending - Approved applicant has scheduled a meet and greet with the dog and an adoption seems likely.
  • Adopted- Dog has been adopted but will continue to remain our website for a short period of time following the actual adoption.

Please come meet our adoptable dogs at our Meet & Greet, every Saturday from 11:30am - 1:30pm at Pet Rescue, 7 Harrison Ave, Harrison NY 10528. Please call us with any questions you may have about our sweet dogs: 914-835-3332

A little About Phillip...

Meet Phillip - a true gentleman! He is a gorgeous German Shepherd/Collie mix, about 2 years old and weighs 63 lbs (and could stand to gain a few lbs). He is a new arrival and has been super sweet, friendly, laid back and affectionate. He was very easy to bathe and likes to be brushed, and takes treats ever so gently. He is a smart boy and already knows how to sit and give paw. He is friendly with other dogs and has his spurts of playfulness. He just loves to be next to you and will make one lucky family very happy!
