Adopt or Foster a Dog

Pet Rescue is dedicated to providing cats and dogs with a second chance to find loving and safe homes.
Dogs currently available for adoption are featured below. New animals are added as they become available.
You can help! Please share their profiles, because every adoption makes room for another deserving pet.

Please be sure to check the status of the dog you may be interested in adopting.  The status of a particular dog will be one of the following:

  • Adoptable - Dog has not yet been adopted out to a family although there may be applications that are still in the process of being evaluated.  In addition, following approval the applicant will meet the dog with their family to make sure it is a good fit.
  • Adoption Pending - Approved applicant has scheduled a meet and greet with the dog and an adoption seems likely.
  • Adopted- Dog has been adopted but will continue to remain our website for a short period of time following the actual adoption.

Due to the extremely high number of applications we have been receiving, the review process will take anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks.

A little About Cain...

Brothers Cain and Abel arrived at Petrescue together. Cain is the smaller of the two and a sweet, cuddly boy with an independent side. He absolutely loves being outdoors. you’ll often find him nestled in the grass or tucked into his own little cove in the woods. Cain can be timid at first and takes some time to build trust, but once he feels comfortable, his sweet personality comes through. He enjoys affection on his terms and appreciates having his own space, especially around kids. He can be playful, but overall he’s a pretty chill, relaxed pup who isn’t much of a jumper. He’d thrive in a calmer home that lets him warm up at his own pace. Be sure to complete an application on line and come to our Meet & Greet Saturday 11:30-1:30
