Adopt or Foster a Dog

Pet Rescue is dedicated to providing cats and dogs with a second chance to find loving and safe homes.
Dogs currently available for adoption are featured below. New animals are added as they become available.
You can help! Please share their profiles, because every adoption makes room for another deserving pet.

Please be sure to check the status of the dog you may be interested in adopting.  The status of a particular dog will be one of the following:

  • Adoptable - Dog has not yet been adopted out to a family although there may be applications that are still in the process of being evaluated.  In addition, following approval the applicant will meet the dog with their family to make sure it is a good fit.
  • Adoption Pending - Approved applicant has scheduled a meet and greet with the dog and an adoption seems likely.
  • Adopted- Dog has been adopted but will continue to remain our website for a short period of time following the actual adoption.

Due to the extremely high number of applications we have been receiving, the review process will take anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks.

A little About Addie...

Meet Addie!…a one-of-a-kind beauty! With her jaw-droppingly long body, low-rider build, unique silhouette and stunning brindle coat, she turns heads everywhere she goes.  Addie is friendly, playful, super sweet, affectionate and full of personality. She is housebroken, and Ok in the crate for short periods of time, but it is not her favorite place.  Her foster family says she is not destructive, and does not get into anything she shouldn’t...No puppy behaviors. Addie sleeps quietly through the night in her bed next to her foster parents.  She is fine with other dogs, somewhat interested to say hi, but not too playful. She is surprisingly strong for her size and enjoys long walks, and when meeting new people, she is hesitant at first, and will take her time in saying hello. Addie will do best in a home without young children, but she'd thrive with older kids or adults who appreciate a lovable companion.  Addie is well-mannered and ready for her new life.  Be sure to complete an application on line and come to our Meet & Greet Saturday 11:30-1:30.
