Adopt or Foster a Dog

Pet Rescue is dedicated to providing cats and dogs with a second chance to find loving and safe homes.
Dogs currently available for adoption are featured below. New animals are added as they become available.
You can help! Please share their profiles, because every adoption makes room for another deserving pet.

Please be sure to check the status of the dog you may be interested in adopting.  The status of a particular dog will be one of the following:

  • Adoptable - Dog has not yet been adopted out to a family although there may be applications that are still in the process of being evaluated.  In addition, following approval the applicant will meet the dog with their family to make sure it is a good fit.
  • Adoption Pending - Approved applicant has scheduled a meet and greet with the dog and an adoption seems likely.
  • Adopted- Dog has been adopted but will continue to remain our website for a short period of time following the actual adoption.

Due to the extremely high number of applications we have been receiving, the review process will take anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks.

A little About ZZ June-Courtesy Listing...

June is an affectionate & playful dog. She loves every human she meets and her favorite spot is on a lap or cuddling with her favorite people. June loves walks and requires a medium amount of exercise/enrichment each day, but will spend the rest of her time relaxing on the couch. She is food motivated and has worked with a trainer on most basic commands (sit, stay, leave it, etc.) and leash walking, but occasionally pulls when excited. June is potty trained, very quiet (never barks), and is crate trained (used to staying in a crate 9am-5pm with a lunchtime walk a few days a week). She gets along with other dogs 95% of the time, but she has had two altercations, both involving smaller dogs (neither dog was seriously injured). We are looking to rehome June because a loud city environment doesn't seem the best fit for her. She would do best as the only pet in the home. Other favorite activities include playing tug, fetch, laying under blankets, and following her humans around the house. If you are interested in June please contact   amquinn12@gmail.com
