Adopt or Foster a Dog

Pet Rescue is dedicated to providing cats and dogs with a second chance to find loving and safe homes.
Dogs currently available for adoption are featured below. New animals are added as they become available.
You can help! Please share their profiles, because every adoption makes room for another deserving pet.

Please be sure to check the status of the dog you may be interested in adopting.  The status of a particular dog will be one of the following:

  • Adoptable - Dog has not yet been adopted out to a family although there may be applications that are still in the process of being evaluated.  In addition, following approval the applicant will meet the dog with their family to make sure it is a good fit.
  • Adoption Pending - Approved applicant has scheduled a meet and greet with the dog and an adoption seems likely.
  • Adopted- Dog has been adopted but will continue to remain our website for a short period of time following the actual adoption.

Due to the extremely high number of applications we have been receiving, the review process will take anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks.

A little About Todd...

Meet Todd, an adorable 2 year-old beagle mix with soulful hazel eyes that will melt your heart! Todd charms everyone he meets with his Southern ways. He is quiet and gentle, friendly and sweet to people of all ages... other dogs and kitties too!! Among Todd’s favorite things are hiking with his foster mom, looking out the house windows, riding in cars, playing with his toys... and he is fully housebroken. Todd loves long walks on the beach and in the woods and anywhere that he can be a scent hound. He will do best in a quiet home where the humans are home often and he has another pup to call a friend. With classic floppy ears and an attractive coat in soft café au lait and white, Todd is a beautiful boy, and is ready to fill a home with love, and plenty of beagle charm! Be sure to complete an application on line and come to our Meet & Greet Saturday 11:30-1:30.
