Adopt or Foster a Dog

Pet Rescue is dedicated to providing cats and dogs with a second chance to find loving and safe homes.
Dogs currently available for adoption are featured below. New animals are added as they become available.
You can help! Please share their profiles, because every adoption makes room for another deserving pet.

Please be sure to check the status of the dog you may be interested in adopting.  The status of a particular dog will be one of the following:

  • Adoptable - Dog has not yet been adopted out to a family although there may be applications that are still in the process of being evaluated.  In addition, following approval the applicant will meet the dog with their family to make sure it is a good fit.
  • Adoption Pending - Approved applicant has scheduled a meet and greet with the dog and an adoption seems likely.
  • Adopted- Dog has been adopted but will continue to remain our website for a short period of time following the actual adoption.

Due to the extremely high number of applications we have been receiving, the review process will take anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks.

A little About Hooch...

Meet Hooch! A medium-sized, 2-year-old pittie-mix looking for love...His foster mom says he's adjusted well and is settling into family life. He's a gentleman in his crate, house-broken, and thrives on routines. He's an absolute cuddle muffin, and has been given the name "velcro" because his favorite thing to do is stick by your side. He loves to cuddle and lean into every kiss, hug, and belly rub you're willing to give. He's got the dreamiest eyes and the goofiest soul. He's full of energy and will be a great hiking, running, and walking companion. Hooch loves ALL people but would be best suited for a family with older children. Hooch would do best as the only household pet so he can have all of your affection and attention. Hooch deserves a chance! He's a beautiful, goofy, energetic, and gentle soul! You can see his warmth in his eyes. Be sure to complete an application on line and come meet Hooch at our Meet & Greet Saturdays 11:30-1:30.
