Bailey is an enthusiastic, athletic, and endlessly curious beagle–blue heeler mix looking for a home that understands the power of structure, exercise, and play. He is a friendly, playful and energetic dog, who loves to have a job to do. At around 3 years old, he brings the energy of a working dog with the sweetness of a loyal companion. Bailey thrives on sniff walks, catching toys midair, and showing off his confident gait. After an outing, he settles nearby, content just to be close. He’s crate-trained and does well with other dogs and cats. He is a friendly, playful and energetic dog…friendly with other dogs, and great with children. Bailey enjoys being around people, loves to cuddle and snuggle in his foster’s blankets and curl up in laps. He is potty trained, loves to play with his toys, and is a true “foodie”…loves to eat. He’ll thrive in a home with regular walks, outdoor access, and a consistent routine that blends activity and decompression. If you’re looking for a loyal, smart, lovable companion with a heart as big as his spirit, Bailey just might be your guy. Simply put…Bailey is a great companion. He takes daily medication for a well-managed seizure disorder and does best on a consistent schedule. Be sure to complete an application on line and come to our Meet & Greet Saturdays 11:30-1:30.
