Adopt or Foster a Dog

Pet Rescue is dedicated to providing cats and dogs with a second chance to find loving and safe homes.
Dogs currently available for adoption are featured below. New animals are added as they become available.
You can help! Please share their profiles, because every adoption makes room for another deserving pet.

Please be sure to check the status of the dog you may be interested in adopting.  The status of a particular dog will be one of the following:

  • Adoptable - Dog has not yet been adopted out to a family although there may be applications that are still in the process of being evaluated.  In addition, following approval the applicant will meet the dog with their family to make sure it is a good fit.
  • Adoption Pending - Approved applicant has scheduled a meet and greet with the dog and an adoption seems likely.
  • Adopted- Dog has been adopted but will continue to remain our website for a short period of time following the actual adoption.

Due to the extremely high number of applications we have been receiving, the review process will take anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks.

A little About Emma...

Emma is a beautiful 10 month old black and white Jack Russel mix. She had a difficult beginning, as she was abandoned in a factory, and is learning to trust people. A rescuer gained her trust and now she has begun her new life at Petrescue. Emma takes a short while to warm up to new people, but then, armed with treats, she will be your BFF. Since she is food motivated, she is receptive to training. Emma is friendly and playful with other dogs, regardless of size, but is not a fan of cats.  She is house broken, enjoys the company of other dogs, and tends to learn and gain confidence from them. For this reason her forever home should be one with a canine companion. Be sure to complete an application on line and come to our Meet & Greet Saturday 11:30-1:30.
