Adopt or Foster a Dog

Pet Rescue is dedicated to providing cats and dogs with a second chance to find loving and safe homes.
Dogs currently available for adoption are featured below. New animals are added as they become available.
You can help! Please share their profiles, because every adoption makes room for another deserving pet.

Please be sure to check the status of the dog you may be interested in adopting. The status of a particular dog will be one of the following:

Adoptable - Dog has not yet been adopted out to a family although there may be applications that are still in the process of being evaluated. In addition, following approval the applicant will meet the dog with their family to make sure it is a good fit.
Adoption Pending - Approved applicant has scheduled a meet and greet with the dog and an adoption seems likely.
Adopted- Dog has been adopted but will continue to remain our website for a short period of time following the actual adoption.

Due to the extremely high number of applications we have been receiving, the review process will take anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks.

A little About Bear...

Meet Bear, a small dog with a big personality. He is a friendly guy with a nice confidence about him. Bear is very smart and easily trainable ( his high food motivation is a real help here). He is very loving and affectionate with his humans. He loves to go for a walk, play with his toys or just cuddle with you on the sofa. Bear walks well on the leash, knows basic commands and is housebroken. He’s a bit of a snob, and can be choosy as to which canine buddies he wants to hang with. Bear has a lot of love to give and would do well as the only pet in an adult home…with treats just for him. Bear will be a perfect companion and family dog. Be sure to complete an application on line and come to our Meet & Greet Saturday 11:30-1:30.
