Meet Benny, our very special miracle boy! He was in a small, rural shelter in GA, arriving there when he was just a young pup and lived there for many months before facing euthanasia, due to overcrowding. Our rescue partner couldn't let him die so she took him home to foster. He is shy initially but has been a perfect house guest. He has had no accidents whatsoever, sleeps peacefully all night and LOVES other dogs, and would do best in a home with another dog. He needs some leash work and help going up stairs, and still needs to build confidence. He is great with dogs and loves to play with them, especially if they're his size or smaller; he's submissive and playful. He is very sweet, sensitive, good-natured, and now gives kisses and plays with toys. We are so happy to welcome him at Pet Rescue and can't wait to find him the furever home he deserves! Benny is about 11 months old and weighs around 47 lbs. Be sure to complete an application on line and come and meet Benny at our weekly Meet & Greet Saturdays 11:30-1:30
