Trap Neuter Release (TNR) Fund

Pet Rescue is committed to helping control the population of feral cats in the Westchester area through our TNR program which involves trapping feral cats, spaying/neutering them, giving them all the necessary vaccines and returning them back to the area they were trapped.

Most feral cats are not socialized with humans and therefore, are not candidates for adoption.  However, those who are friendly will be taken in and made available for adoption into loving homes.

While the program is expensive to administer, around $100 per cat, it serves as an essential service to surrounding communities in order to stablize the feral cat population.

To fund this program, Pet Rescue relies upon the generosity of our donors who recognize the importance of this program and contribute directly to our TNR Fund.
