Pet Rescue is dedicated to providing cats and dogs with a second chance to find loving and safe homes.
Dogs currently available for adoption are featured below. New animals are added as they become available.
You can help! Please share their profiles, because every adoption makes room for another deserving pet.

Please be sure to check the status of the dog you may be interested in adopting. The status of a particular dog will be one of the following:

Adoptable - Dog has not yet been adopted out to a family although there may be applications that are still in the process of being evaluated. In addition, following approval the applicant will meet the dog with their family to make sure it is a good fit.
Adoption Pending - Approved applicant has scheduled a meet and greet with the dog and an adoption seems likely.
Adopted- Dog has been adopted but will continue to remain our website for a short period of time following the actual adoption.

A little About Rita...

Rita is a 1 year old Vizsla mix with a wonderful personality. This 50 pound girl thinks she is a lap dog and just loves cuddling with people. She is super smart and loves to perform obedience commands. She is learning both voice and hand commands and walks well on a leash. She has made some canine friends and loves yard time. Rita needs an experienced owner as she has displayed some resource guarding but is responding well to her training. Teenage kids and older would be an appropriate fit for sweet Rita. Rita would love a fenced in yard in which to run and play.

Our mission is to aid homeless, abandoned and neglected cats and dogs, to nurture them in the foster care of volunteers, to provide veterinary care and socialization, and to place them in permanent loving and responsible homes.
