Adopt or Foster a Dog

Pet Rescue is dedicated to providing cats and dogs with a second chance to find loving and safe homes.
Dogs currently available for adoption are featured below. New animals are added as they become available.
You can help! Please share their profiles, because every adoption makes room for another deserving pet.

Please be sure to check the status of the dog you may be interested in adopting.  The status of a particular dog will be one of the following:

  • Adoptable - Dog has not yet been adopted out to a family although there may be applications that are still in the process of being evaluated.  In addition, following approval the applicant will meet the dog with their family to make sure it is a good fit.
  • Adoption Pending - Approved applicant has scheduled a meet and greet with the dog and an adoption seems likely.
  • Adopted- Dog has been adopted but will continue to remain our website for a short period of time following the actual adoption.

Please come meet our adoptable dogs at our Meet & Greet, every Saturday from 11:30am - 1:30pm at Pet Rescue, 7 Harrison Ave, Harrison NY 10528. Please call us with any questions you may have about our sweet dogs: 914-835-3332

A little About Keller (aka Jose )...

Keller is an adorable 15 week old puppy.  He is very sweet and loves everyone he meets.  Keller sleeps through the night in his crate and is working hard on his house training. He loves playing with other dogs, so he must have another dog in his forever home.
Keller has some vision loss and a left hip abnormality that he may grow out of, or may need surgery in the future.  But this would be a surprise to Keller. He doesn’t seem to know or care about any of this, and it doesn't bother him or his playing with other dogs. Keller will do best in a residential area vs. the city, as he is not fond of loud noises and trucks. All the qualities that people so often look for in a puppy can be found in Keller. He is a sweet, easy pup, with lots of love to give.
