Adopt or Foster a Dog

Pet Rescue is dedicated to providing cats and dogs with a second chance to find loving and safe homes.
Dogs currently available for adoption are featured below. New animals are added as they become available.
You can help! Please share their profiles, because every adoption makes room for another deserving pet.

Please be sure to check the status of the dog you may be interested in adopting.  The status of a particular dog will be one of the following:

  • Adoptable - Dog has not yet been adopted out to a family although there may be applications that are still in the process of being evaluated.  In addition, following approval the applicant will meet the dog with their family to make sure it is a good fit.
  • Adoption Pending - Approved applicant has scheduled a meet and greet with the dog and an adoption seems likely.
  • Adopted- Dog has been adopted but will continue to remain our website for a short period of time following the actual adoption.

Please come meet our adoptable dogs at our Meet & Greet, every Saturday from 11:30am - 1:30pm at Pet Rescue, 7 Harrison Ave, Harrison NY 10528. Please call us with any questions you may have about our sweet dogs: 914-835-3332

A little About Granola...

**WE ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR GRANOLA, BUT PLEASE CONTINUE TO MONITOR OUR PETRESCUE SITE FOR OTHER AVAILABLE DOGS.**

Hi. Meet Granola. Granola is an adorably goofy girl with the most incredible speckled coat. She is an exuberant, high spirited girl. She walks well on a leash and loves her walks,… the more the merrier…and boy is she smart. She will thrive on lots of exercise and mental stimulation. Granola is good with other dogs, and loves to play. She would be happy to live with a canine buddy. Granola is a year old, but still has some of that mouthy puppyish behavior, so will do best in a home with adults and teens or older. And to complete the package, Granola is housebroken and crate trained. Someone will be very lucky to make her the newest member of their family.
