Adopt or Foster a Dog

Pet Rescue is dedicated to providing cats and dogs with a second chance to find loving and safe homes.
Dogs currently available for adoption are featured below. New animals are added as they become available.
You can help! Please share their profiles, because every adoption makes room for another deserving pet.

Please be sure to check the status of the dog you may be interested in adopting.  The status of a particular dog will be one of the following:

  • Adoptable - Dog has not yet been adopted out to a family although there may be applications that are still in the process of being evaluated.  In addition, following approval the applicant will meet the dog with their family to make sure it is a good fit.
  • Adoption Pending - Approved applicant has scheduled a meet and greet with the dog and an adoption seems likely.
  • Adopted- Dog has been adopted but will continue to remain our website for a short period of time following the actual adoption.

Please come meet our adoptable dogs at our Meet & Greet, every Saturday from 11:30am - 1:30pm at Pet Rescue, 7 Harrison Ave, Harrison NY 10528. Please call us with any questions you may have about our sweet dogs: 914-835-3332

A little About Chulita...

**WE ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR CHULITA, BUT PLEASE CONTINUE TO MONITOR OUR PETRESCUE SITE FOR OTHER AVAILABLE DOGS.**

Chulita is an adorable 3-year old mini pin mix and weighs about 8 pounds.  Chulita has three legs which does not bother her in the least!   She doesn't even realize that she is different.  She is very loving and loves to cuddle on your lap.  She gets along with all the dogs in her foster home and all the dogs she meets on her walks.  Chulita is very friendly to everyone! We are working on her house breaking and she is doing well.  Chulita would make a wonderful  addition to any family.
