Adopt or Foster a Dog

Pet Rescue is dedicated to providing cats and dogs with a second chance to find loving and safe homes.
Dogs currently available for adoption are featured below. New animals are added as they become available.
You can help! Please share their profiles, because every adoption makes room for another deserving pet.

Please be sure to check the status of the dog you may be interested in adopting.  The status of a particular dog will be one of the following:

  • Adoptable - Dog has not yet been adopted out to a family although there may be applications that are still in the process of being evaluated.  In addition, following approval the applicant will meet the dog with their family to make sure it is a good fit.
  • Adoption Pending - Approved applicant has scheduled a meet and greet with the dog and an adoption seems likely.
  • Adopted- Dog has been adopted but will continue to remain our website for a short period of time following the actual adoption.

Please come meet our adoptable dogs at our Meet & Greet, every Saturday from 11:30am - 1:30pm at Pet Rescue, 7 Harrison Ave, Harrison NY 10528. Please call us with any questions you may have about our sweet dogs: 914-835-3332

A little About Bradley...

**WE ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR BRADLEY, BUT PLEASE CONTINUE TO MONITOR OUR PETRESCUE SITE FOR OTHER AVAILABLE DOGS.**

Attention Lab lovers! Bradley is your typical sweet, easy going Lab,
who is happy just hanging out with you.  He is about 2 years old,
and weighs 47.5 lbs. Bradley is completely house trained and is
friendly with everyone, including kids, but he can be dog selective.
Although Bradley plays well with other dogs off leash,
a fenced in yard is best until he is trained to not be reactive to dogs when on a leash walk.
He knows some commands, takes treats gently and only barks when he sees a dog out the window.
… and one more thing…Bradley thinks he is a lap dog.  Look at those beautiful
trusting eyes.  This pup is so easy to love.  Bradley is very sweet,
friendly, and will make a fabulous companion.
