Adopt or Foster a Dog

Pet Rescue is dedicated to providing cats and dogs with a second chance to find loving and safe homes.
Dogs currently available for adoption are featured below. New animals are added as they become available.
You can help! Please share their profiles, because every adoption makes room for another deserving pet.

Please be sure to check the status of the dog you may be interested in adopting.  The status of a particular dog will be one of the following:

  • Adoptable - Dog has not yet been adopted out to a family although there may be applications that are still in the process of being evaluated.  In addition, following approval the applicant will meet the dog with their family to make sure it is a good fit.
  • Adoption Pending - Approved applicant has scheduled a meet and greet with the dog and an adoption seems likely.
  • Adopted- Dog has been adopted but will continue to remain our website for a short period of time following the actual adoption.

Please come meet our adoptable dogs at our Meet & Greet, every Saturday from 11:30am - 1:30pm at Pet Rescue, 7 Harrison Ave, Harrison NY 10528. Please call us with any questions you may have about our sweet dogs: 914-835-3332

A little About Bella & Biscuit...

Biscuit and Bella's beloved owner passed away recently and these 2 senior gals were living alone in an apt. A kind person was going in to take care of them until Pet Rescue took them in. These sweet dogs are looking for a home together as they have been a bonded pair for over 10 years. Biscuit is a 12 1/2 -year-old cockapoo and Bella is a 15-year-old mixed breed; both are very playful and affectionate. They are up to date on vaccines, healthy, and housebroken too. They seem to be good with other dogs once they get to know them... they are certainly very friendly with each other. They grew up around children and love to go on leash walks (not sure how they are with cats). Will you open your heart and home to these girls to live out their golden years? They have so much love to give!
