Adopt or Foster a Dog

Pet Rescue is dedicated to providing cats and dogs with a second chance to find loving and safe homes.
Dogs currently available for adoption are featured below. New animals are added as they become available.
You can help! Please share their profiles, because every adoption makes room for another deserving pet.

Please be sure to check the status of the dog you may be interested in adopting.  The status of a particular dog will be one of the following:

  • Adoptable - Dog has not yet been adopted out to a family although there may be applications that are still in the process of being evaluated.  In addition, following approval the applicant will meet the dog with their family to make sure it is a good fit.
  • Adoption Pending - Approved applicant has scheduled a meet and greet with the dog and an adoption seems likely.
  • Adopted- Dog has been adopted but will continue to remain our website for a short period of time following the actual adoption.

Please come meet our adoptable dogs at our Meet & Greet, every Saturday from 11:30am - 1:30pm at Pet Rescue, 7 Harrison Ave, Harrison NY 10528. Please call us with any questions you may have about our sweet dogs: 914-835-3332

A little About Jane...

Jane is a 14 pound, 6 month old lab mix puppy.  If there is one word to best describe this adorable, sweet pup, it is spunky!  Jane will play with dogs of all sizes too!  Between how adorable her little face is, her long body, her webbed front feet and her hilarious personality, you fall in love with Jane instantly!  Jane would prefer a very active household with human friends that will equally want to play and cuddle with her.  Because Jane is still a puppy and very active, a home with older children that will know how to play with her would be best for Jane.  Jane would love a family that will run, hike and walk a lot with her.  When she’s all tired out, Jane will snuggle and nap.  She is extremely loyal and attentive!  She loves playing all kinds of games, enjoys being outside and is fond of the sun!  Jane does well on a leash, is crate trained, is working on her housetraining and knows basic obedience.
