Adopt or Foster a Dog

Pet Rescue is dedicated to providing cats and dogs with a second chance to find loving and safe homes.
Dogs currently available for adoption are featured below. New animals are added as they become available.
You can help! Please share their profiles, because every adoption makes room for another deserving pet.

Please be sure to check the status of the dog you may be interested in adopting.  The status of a particular dog will be one of the following:

  • Adoptable - Dog has not yet been adopted out to a family although there may be applications that are still in the process of being evaluated.  In addition, following approval the applicant will meet the dog with their family to make sure it is a good fit.
  • Adoption Pending - Approved applicant has scheduled a meet and greet with the dog and an adoption seems likely.
  • Adopted- Dog has been adopted but will continue to remain our website for a short period of time following the actual adoption.

Please come meet our adoptable dogs at our Meet & Greet, every Saturday from 11:30am - 1:30pm at Pet Rescue, 7 Harrison Ave, Harrison NY 10528. Please call us with any questions you may have about our sweet dogs: 914-835-3332

A little About Bondi...

Bondi is a very sweet dog. He takes a little while to warm up to people and will choose one person as his "person" and become their shadow. His favorite thing ever is to be outside or to watch outside from a window or door. He walks excellently on leash, never pulling, doesn't have that typical pray drive associated to his breeds. He also almost NEVER barks, he is a very quiet boy. He isn't very interested in playing with other dogs or dog toys, but he does love to chew on antlers or nylabones. He is very food motivated, eager and quick to learn new tricks. He has completed a beginners agility class and did excellent in it and would excel if continued in the future. He would make a great addition to any home without children, he scares easily and it would be stressful for him to be in a home with small children.
