Adopt or Foster a Dog

Pet Rescue is dedicated to providing cats and dogs with a second chance to find loving and safe homes.
Dogs currently available for adoption are featured below. New animals are added as they become available.
You can help! Please share their profiles, because every adoption makes room for another deserving pet.

Please be sure to check the status of the dog you may be interested in adopting.  The status of a particular dog will be one of the following:

  • Adoptable - Dog has not yet been adopted out to a family although there may be applications that are still in the process of being evaluated.  In addition, following approval the applicant will meet the dog with their family to make sure it is a good fit.
  • Adoption Pending - Approved applicant has scheduled a meet and greet with the dog and an adoption seems likely.
  • Adopted- Dog has been adopted but will continue to remain our website for a short period of time following the actual adoption.

Please come meet our adoptable dogs at our Meet & Greet, every Saturday from 11:30am - 1:30pm at Pet Rescue, 7 Harrison Ave, Harrison NY 10528. Please call us with any questions you may have about our sweet dogs: 914-835-3332

A little About Lucy Liu...

**WE ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR LUCY LIU, BUT PLEASE LOOK AT OUR MANY OTHER DOGS, WITH NEW ARRIVALS ADDED DAILY**

Lucy is a 2 year old female chihuahua-beagle mix and weighs about 12 Lbs.
She gets along well with other dogs and loves people. She is quiet, seldom barks and never jumps up. She will be perfect for a house with kids.  She is potty, leash and crate trained. Every time people pass by her, she looks up curiously and greets with big eyes. If people stop to say hello to her, she lifts up her paw to shake hands with people. She is  very friendly and patient dog.
