Adopt or Foster a Dog

Pet Rescue is dedicated to providing cats and dogs with a second chance to find loving and safe homes.
Dogs currently available for adoption are featured below. New animals are added as they become available.
You can help! Please share their profiles, because every adoption makes room for another deserving pet.

Please be sure to check the status of the dog you may be interested in adopting.  The status of a particular dog will be one of the following:

  • Adoptable - Dog has not yet been adopted out to a family although there may be applications that are still in the process of being evaluated.  In addition, following approval the applicant will meet the dog with their family to make sure it is a good fit.
  • Adoption Pending - Approved applicant has scheduled a meet and greet with the dog and an adoption seems likely.
  • Adopted- Dog has been adopted but will continue to remain our website for a short period of time following the actual adoption.

Please come meet our adoptable dogs at our Meet & Greet, every Saturday from 11:30am - 1:30pm at Pet Rescue, 7 Harrison Ave, Harrison NY 10528. Please call us with any questions you may have about our sweet dogs: 914-835-3332

A little About Rogan...

Rogan is a sweet, affectionate and intelligent dog with a smile that will melt your heart. He is a 2-year old lab mix and weighs about 55 pounds.
Rogan is great when meeting other dogs in the neighborhood and visitors that come to the house. He plays well with the foster family dog (around his size) and children of all ages. Rogan is energetic and would thrive in a home that can give him alot of exercise as well as the chance to play outdoors.
Even though Rogan is energetic, he settles down quickly and is ready to cuddle with anyone who wants to pet and rub his belly.
He is house and leash trained and knows basic commands such as sit, lay down, and is working on "stay".   With consistent training, Rogan continues to make progress everyday. He would make a great addition to any family.  Come meet Rogan today!
