Adopt or Foster a Dog

Pet Rescue is dedicated to providing cats and dogs with a second chance to find loving and safe homes.
Dogs currently available for adoption are featured below. New animals are added as they become available.
You can help! Please share their profiles, because every adoption makes room for another deserving pet.

Please be sure to check the status of the dog you may be interested in adopting.  The status of a particular dog will be one of the following:

  • Adoptable - Dog has not yet been adopted out to a family although there may be applications that are still in the process of being evaluated.  In addition, following approval the applicant will meet the dog with their family to make sure it is a good fit.
  • Adoption Pending - Approved applicant has scheduled a meet and greet with the dog and an adoption seems likely.
  • Adopted- Dog has been adopted but will continue to remain our website for a short period of time following the actual adoption.

Please come meet our adoptable dogs at our Meet & Greet, every Saturday from 11:30am - 1:30pm at Pet Rescue, 7 Harrison Ave, Harrison NY 10528. Please call us with any questions you may have about our sweet dogs: 914-835-3332

A little About Jenny...

Jenny is a doll. This beautiful 3 year old beagle mix weighs 32 pounds and just loves people. Jenny is the cutest and gentlest cuddle bug you will ever meet.  She greets everyone with affection and loves to be petted.  She is housebroken, very smart and super silly too.  This girl must be your one and only as she does not prefer the company of other four-legged animals.  She gives all her love to her humans.  Since she can be dog reactive on walks, it’s best that she live in a home with adults and older children.  Come and meet her!  Could Jenny be what your lap is missing?
