Pet Rescue is dedicated to providing cats and dogs with a second chance to find loving and safe homes.
Dogs currently available for adoption are featured below. New animals are added as they become available.
You can help! Please share their profiles, because every adoption makes room for another deserving pet.

Please be sure to check the status of the dog you may be interested in adopting. The status of a particular dog will be one of the following:

Adoptable - Dog has not yet been adopted out to a family although there may be applications that are still in the process of being evaluated. In addition, following approval the applicant will meet the dog with their family to make sure it is a good fit.
Adoption Pending - Approved applicant has scheduled a meet and greet with the dog and an adoption seems likely.
Adopted- Dog has been adopted but will continue to remain our website for a short period of time following the actual adoption.

A little About Shirley...

Hi, I'm Shirley. I'm mixed, but definitely part Bullnose Terrier (yes, like the Target dog!). I'm 3 and 1/2 years old, and weight 30 lbs. I'm open for a meet and greet date and definitely hoping we can have a long term relationship. Here's what I am looking for in humans: highly responsible, sometimes active/sometimes cuddling on the couch, a house with a fenced yard, and lots of car rides. I'm 100% housebroken, enjoy long walks through the park, spinning in circles, cuddling on the couch, chewing on my nylabone and looking out the screen door. The real way to my heart is with treats - any kind really, frozen peaches or apples are real turn ons. I'm 100% a people's dog, but I'd like to be your exclusive pet so please don't have other animals around me. Fill out an application and we can meet up. You never know, we just may fall in love.
