Pet Rescue is dedicated to providing cats and dogs with a second chance to find loving and safe homes.
Dogs currently available for adoption are featured below. New animals are added as they become available.
You can help! Please share their profiles, because every adoption makes room for another deserving pet.

Please be sure to check the status of the dog you may be interested in adopting. The status of a particular dog will be one of the following:

Adoptable - Dog has not yet been adopted out to a family although there may be applications that are still in the process of being evaluated. In addition, following approval the applicant will meet the dog with their family to make sure it is a good fit.
Adoption Pending - Approved applicant has scheduled a meet and greet with the dog and an adoption seems likely.
Adopted- Dog has been adopted but will continue to remain our website for a short period of time following the actual adoption.

A little About Chocolate...

**WE ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR CHOCOLATE, BUT PLEASE CONTINUE TO MONITOR OUR PETRESCUE SITE FOR OTHER AVAILABLE DOGS.**

Chocolate could be the poster dog for a great Chihuahua. He is friendly, and playful, and has no problem crawling right into your lap for some snuggles and pets. He's a good natured dog ready for a fresh start at life. Chocolate is currently kenneled with a shy friend and is helping her to come out of her shell. Chocolate is easy to walk and and a joy to be around, and we think he may also be friendly towards cats.
