Adopt or Foster a Dog

Pet Rescue is dedicated to providing cats and dogs with a second chance to find loving and safe homes.
Dogs currently available for adoption are featured below. New animals are added as they become available.
You can help! Please share their profiles, because every adoption makes room for another deserving pet.

Please be sure to check the status of the dog you may be interested in adopting.  The status of a particular dog will be one of the following:

  • Adoptable - Dog has not yet been adopted out to a family although there may be applications that are still in the process of being evaluated.  In addition, following approval the applicant will meet the dog with their family to make sure it is a good fit.
  • Adoption Pending - Approved applicant has scheduled a meet and greet with the dog and an adoption seems likely.
  • Adopted- Dog has been adopted but will continue to remain our website for a short period of time following the actual adoption.

A little About ZZ Romeo-Courtesy Listing...

Romeo is 5yrs old roughly 80lbs. He is an amazing dog. He is great with kids. He has been our family dog since he was a puppy. We first got him when we had an 11 year old dog & a baby. We are now a family of 5 with a 6yr old, 3yr old & a 16month old. He is a big mush with our kids. 
Our daughter is highly allergic to dogs which we have just found out. She had a severe episode recently which resulted in us needing to have an epipen on hand. We are devastated that we have to re home him. He has been a part of our family most of our kids lives. He is very protective of all of us. He is timid with strangers, however once he has warmed up to them he is such a sweetheart. He does not get along well with other animals. He is great on a leash, house trained, & knows simple commands. He loves to go on walks & car rides as much as he loves lounging around. He is a low maintenance dog but absolutely loves attention.
