Adopt or Foster a Dog

Pet Rescue is dedicated to providing cats and dogs with a second chance to find loving and safe homes.
Dogs currently available for adoption are featured below. New animals are added as they become available.
You can help! Please share their profiles, because every adoption makes room for another deserving pet.

Please be sure to check the status of the dog you may be interested in adopting.  The status of a particular dog will be one of the following:

  • Adoptable - Dog has not yet been adopted out to a family although there may be applications that are still in the process of being evaluated.  In addition, following approval the applicant will meet the dog with their family to make sure it is a good fit.
  • Adoption Pending - Approved applicant has scheduled a meet and greet with the dog and an adoption seems likely.
  • Adopted- Dog has been adopted but will continue to remain our website for a short period of time following the actual adoption.

Please come meet our adoptable dogs at our Meet & Greet, every Saturday from 11:30am - 1:30pm at Pet Rescue, 7 Harrison Ave, Harrison NY 10528. Please call us with any questions you may have about our sweet dogs: 914-835-3332

A little About Lilith...

Lilith is a holiday find.  At 3 years old this black lab/mix has a mature nature and a playful side. She is doing very nicely in her foster home.  Lilith is fully house broken and crate trained.
Lilith loves a rub behind the ears to a full body massage or being your big lap dog who give kisses.  She makes herself at home on her favorite mat in the kitchen watching you cook or in her crate for a nap.
Lilith is smart and treat motivated to learn whatever fun tricks you can teach her.
She loves to play fetch with her toys, and long walks where she can explore are her favorite pastimes. An enclosed yard is optimal for her to play, but not necessary.
Lilith seems good with school aged kids and could be great with the right canine buddy.
