Adopt or Foster a Dog

Pet Rescue is dedicated to providing cats and dogs with a second chance to find loving and safe homes.
Dogs currently available for adoption are featured below. New animals are added as they become available.
You can help! Please share their profiles, because every adoption makes room for another deserving pet.

Please be sure to check the status of the dog you may be interested in adopting.  The status of a particular dog will be one of the following:

  • Adoptable - Dog has not yet been adopted out to a family although there may be applications that are still in the process of being evaluated.  In addition, following approval the applicant will meet the dog with their family to make sure it is a good fit.
  • Adoption Pending - Approved applicant has scheduled a meet and greet with the dog and an adoption seems likely.
  • Adopted- Dog has been adopted but will continue to remain our website for a short period of time following the actual adoption.

Please come meet our adoptable dogs at our Meet & Greet, every Saturday from 11:30am - 1:30pm at Pet Rescue, 7 Harrison Ave, Harrison NY 10528. Please call us with any questions you may have about our sweet dogs: 914-835-3332

A little About Willow...

Meet Willow! We're guessing her breed is shepherd/husky but whatever her mix, she is gorgeous! Willow is about 3 years old and weighs 53 lbs. She is a very sweet, snuggly girl who knows basic commands and is housebroken too. She is on the calm side and sleeps peacefully in her crate at night. Willow is a country gal and her ideal home would be in a quiet, rural neighborhood .. and if she could have a fenced in yard, all the better! She is a sweetie and absolutely perfect indoors.   One look in those soulful eyes, and your heart will melt. Willow is available to foster or adopt. Watch a video of how sweet and smart Willow is!
