Adopt or Foster a Dog

Pet Rescue is dedicated to providing cats and dogs with a second chance to find loving and safe homes.
Dogs currently available for adoption are featured below. New animals are added as they become available.
You can help! Please share their profiles, because every adoption makes room for another deserving pet.

Please be sure to check the status of the dog you may be interested in adopting.  The status of a particular dog will be one of the following:

  • Adoptable - Dog has not yet been adopted out to a family although there may be applications that are still in the process of being evaluated.  In addition, following approval the applicant will meet the dog with their family to make sure it is a good fit.
  • Adoption Pending - Approved applicant has scheduled a meet and greet with the dog and an adoption seems likely.
  • Adopted- Dog has been adopted but will continue to remain our website for a short period of time following the actual adoption.

Please come meet our adoptable dogs at our Meet & Greet, every Saturday from 11:30am - 1:30pm at Pet Rescue, 7 Harrison Ave, Harrison NY 10528. Please call us with any questions you may have about our sweet dogs: 914-835-3332

A little About Puck...

I’m Puck and I came from West Virginia.  I lived with people that were not very nice and I never knew when they were going to hurt me.  So when I first came to Pet Rescue I was very scared around new people and when someone moved too fast.  But I’ve gotten much better and am really learning to trust everyone.  I’m housebroken, and I love long walks. Now I live in a foster home with my human teenage brother, his mom, dad and their dog Bo the beagle. I love to go on long hikes with my dad and I play very well with Bo.  My foster mom says I have a big personality and that I’m doing great.  I would love to find my forever home - could that be you?
