Adopt or Foster a Dog

Pet Rescue is dedicated to providing cats and dogs with a second chance to find loving and safe homes.
Dogs currently available for adoption are featured below. New animals are added as they become available.
You can help! Please share their profiles, because every adoption makes room for another deserving pet.

Please be sure to check the status of the dog you may be interested in adopting.  The status of a particular dog will be one of the following:

  • Adoptable - Dog has not yet been adopted out to a family although there may be applications that are still in the process of being evaluated.  In addition, following approval the applicant will meet the dog with their family to make sure it is a good fit.
  • Adoption Pending - Approved applicant has scheduled a meet and greet with the dog and an adoption seems likely.
  • Adopted- Dog has been adopted but will continue to remain our website for a short period of time following the actual adoption.

Please come meet our adoptable dogs at our Meet & Greet, every Saturday from 11:30am - 1:30pm at Pet Rescue, 7 Harrison Ave, Harrison NY 10528. Please call us with any questions you may have about our sweet dogs: 914-835-3332

A little About Daisy...

Here is what Daisy's foster mom has to say about this sweet girl:
"Ah! Daisy, I love her in so many ways.  I love her kisses, her big soulful eyes and wispy little body chasing butterflies!  Daisy loves adventures, car rides and snuggling next to me.  She makes me feel like I'm the most important person in the whole world! Yep, that's my little Daisy girl and if you love all of that too, then you'll love Daisy when you bring her into your home!"
Daisy is a great girl.  Currently she does very well with wee we pads, and she is working on her house training. Daisy would do best if her future family has someone home most of the day to continue this training.  Daisy loves children and she will flourish with a family that has children. Daisy is a little picky regarding the company of other dogs. She prefers bigger dogs, and is not a fan of small dogs.  She loves her humans, and all told, would be best suited in a home without another dog.  This sweet girl wants to be with you at all times and therefore is not a fan of being in her crate.
