Adopt or Foster a Dog

Pet Rescue is dedicated to providing cats and dogs with a second chance to find loving and safe homes.
Dogs currently available for adoption are featured below. New animals are added as they become available.
You can help! Please share their profiles, because every adoption makes room for another deserving pet.

Please be sure to check the status of the dog you may be interested in adopting.  The status of a particular dog will be one of the following:

  • Adoptable - Dog has not yet been adopted out to a family although there may be applications that are still in the process of being evaluated.  In addition, following approval the applicant will meet the dog with their family to make sure it is a good fit.
  • Adoption Pending - Approved applicant has scheduled a meet and greet with the dog and an adoption seems likely.
  • Adopted- Dog has been adopted but will continue to remain our website for a short period of time following the actual adoption.

  4. Complete the Adoption Application and submit

A little About Tootsie...

Tootsie is the most intelligent and perceptive girl around.  As a pup, she was fully trained by a professional trainer.  She is completely housetrained and knows… sit, paw, find, heel, polite welcome at the door.  She is athletic and could compete with agility training.  Tootsie is sweet and gentle, especially with children, and gets along with cats and most dogs. Like any pooch, she gets excited when the doorbell rings, but obeys commands, and quiets down… and treats are always gratefully accepted. Due to circumstances having nothing to do with her, Tootsie is ready to find a loving new home.  So much loving care and attention has resulted in this lovely companion named Tootsie.  She will make a wonderful addition to her lucky new family.
