Adopt or Foster a Dog

Pet Rescue is dedicated to providing cats and dogs with a second chance to find loving and safe homes.
Dogs currently available for adoption are featured below. New animals are added as they become available.
You can help! Please share their profiles, because every adoption makes room for another deserving pet.

Please be sure to check the status of the dog you may be interested in adopting.  The status of a particular dog will be one of the following:

  • Adoptable - Dog has not yet been adopted out to a family although there may be applications that are still in the process of being evaluated.  In addition, following approval the applicant will meet the dog with their family to make sure it is a good fit.
  • Adoption Pending - Approved applicant has scheduled a meet and greet with the dog and an adoption seems likely.
  • Adopted- Dog has been adopted but will continue to remain our website for a short period of time following the actual adoption.

Due to the extremely high number of applications we have been receiving, the review process will take anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks.

A little About Steve...

Steve is a super affectionate guy... loves his people, and can’t get enough snuggles. He is an outgoing guy with an engaging personality.  Steve is 2 years old, 38 lbs and housebroken.  He is a great indoor companion (affectionate and calm), and is good with dogs off leash.  Steve will do best in a quiet neighborhood.  Busy streets with cars and bike riders are a little too exciting for this guy, as are small children.  Steve would love to join a home with adults or older teens. Steve is a fun loving pup with a playful personality, and will thrive in a suburban neighborhood, with or without a canine buddy...and will always be eager to welcome you home.
