Cypress & Evergreen

Courtesy Listing - Apply for this cat directly.

Cypress (male tabby) and Evergreen (female black) are a boyfriend/girlfriend looking for that special forever home. Cypress is super friendly while gentle Evergreen is friendly but a bit skittish. These two darling kitties have been living in their current owners yard for the past 4 years in heated homes and are very well fed. Sadly their owner is moving and can not take them with her. She is looking for someone with a big heart who will be willing to provide a home for these indoors/outdoors cats. To meet Cypress & Evergreen, please contact Marie at luciamaria410@gmail.com.

Kouun

Courtesy Listing - Apply for this cat directly.

Kouun is a very special brown tabby cat, only about 1 year old, with beautiful tabby markings. Found on a stoop in Brooklyn, NY, she's had a rough go of it. She was ill, very pregnant and only weighed 6 lbs. With excellent vet care, Kouun has recovered nicely and is now spayed and up to date with vaccinations. In follow-up vet appointments diabetes was detected for which Kouun currently is receiving treatment. The diabetes may be reversible (and was possibly caused by stress), but it hasn't been long enough for the vet to make a determination yet. Kouun is a sweet cat who enjoys her naps and stretching out across entire beds/couches. She is very comfortable in her new temporary home but requires an owner who can commit to her diabetes treatment. To learn more about Kouun, please contact Natalie at n.j.mccauley@gmail.com. (8/18)

Robert

Courtesy Listing - Apply for this cat directly.

A very well loved cat in his first home, Robert was brought to the Humane Society of Westchester on November 9, 2018 due to a family tragedy. This handsome grey tabby and white kitty (approx. 4 years old) is a mellow, easy-going cat - very playful and super snuggly. Not a shy bone in his body, Robert will rub up against strangers and is affectionate, outgoing, sweet and friendly. Of medium size, he will be an asset in a family. Robert will be neutered at the Humane Society and provided with all necessary vaccinations. To meet Robert, contact the Humane Society of Westchester at 914/632-2925 or visit their shelter at 70 Portman Road, New Rochelle, NY.

Ms. Kitty

Courtesy Listing - Apply for this cat directly.

Ms. Kitty is a stunning 2 year old orange tabby and white lady, abandoned on the streets of Manhattan. Rescued by a kindly man, she now resides temporarily in his apartment until a more permanent residence can be found for her. She was taken to a vet and is without microchip, but in good health. Attempts were made to locate her original owner but to no avail. Ms. Kitty is a friendly, spunky girl who will do best in a household with another cat with whom to share her friskiness. To meet Ms. Kitty, please contact Chris at cdrobny10025@gmail.com. (10/18)

Tom

Courtesy Listing - Apply for this cat directly.

Tom is a neutered indoors/outdoors cat who loves people, but can fight with other animals. He has a bit of a limp (hurt his front leg in December 2017) but this only seems to make him more lovable. He is a handsome 7 to 8 years old (as of 5/2017) orange/white tabby and would make a great companion as an only pet. He is very affectionate with people, and always wants to be on your lap, or around your feet. To meet Tom, please contact Nancy or Bill at nschellhas@yahoo.com or bschellhas@yahoo.com. (4/18)

Oscar

Courtesy Listing - Apply for this cat directly.

His name is Oscar. He weighs about 5lbs and is less than a year old (per the vet). He was found in Mamaroneck by Brewers in May 2018. He has gotten his vaccines and is neutered. He is quite friendly, but is still getting use to being pet. He’s very curious and vocal. He seems to be an alpha male (at least that is what the other cats he's around think he is trying to be), but he is calm around other cats. To meet this petite boy, please contact Victoria at 914/275-6322. (8/18)

Roxy

Courtesy Listing - Apply for this cat directly.

Roxy is a healthy, spry, affectionate 14 year young cat who loves playing with her toys. We inherited Roxy a year and a half ago from our daughter who moved to Utah and was unable to keep her. Roxy is an indoor cat who has been neutered and declawed. Roxy is great when we are home but very lonely when we are away. Since my husband retired we travel for weeks at a time. We feel it’s unfair to leave her alone. We have someone daily to feed her but no one home to be with her when we are traveling. There is no doubt that Roxy would be a great companion for a family or single person. Please email rlgurian@verizon.net if you would like to meet Roxy. (3/7/18)

Jillian

Courtesy Listing - Apply for this cat directly.

Jillian is a 1-year old petite Maine Coon mix with a very fluffy tail! She is fully vetted; spayed, tested and vaccinated. She has a sweet, gentle and docile temperament and is fine with other cats. She was found crying softly on top of a garbage can, clearly in need of rescue. We know that she was abandoned at a young age. Her fur is soft once again, and she no longer cries for food. She's curious, low-key, and quite a happy girl. Jillie has discovered how much fun windowsills, catnip toys and a soft bed can be – so easy to please! She can be a bit shy at first, but warms up quickly. To meet Jillian contact Ellen at Ellenmaher@msn.com or 917-543-6092. (10-17-18)
