Valerie

This sweet little girl is only about 18 lbs and around 9 months old. She is a little timid around new things and will need somebody gentle to love and pamper her. She is great with other dogs and loves people. She has lived her whole life as a stray dog and was not taken care of by anybody until she went to her foster home where she is very much loved right now till she can find the perfect home.

Vandy

Vandy is a sweet 12 week old Sheltie mix. This gentle, mellow pup is still learning that people are good but is coming around quickly. With the help of the precocious "Amber's pups" who he is living with he is coming around quickly to his foster mom and loves to climb into her lap for a cuddle whenever she sits on the floor.

Vanessa

Vanessa is a lovely Lab/Shepherd mix, about 7 months old and 30 lbs. She's adorable, very playful, sweet and wants to be loved. She is housetrained and sleeps through the night in her crate with some toys. You can't forget that she is still a puppy, so she still has alot of puupy habits, which she is working on. Since she is still teething she would be best in a household with children over 5. Vanessa would be a great addition to any family.

Vanna

Vanna is about 5 years old and 15 lbs. She loves to follow her nose to all the interesting scents outside and then come home and snuggle up with you. This is a very special girl that captures everybody's heart. She is so sweet and gentle and very content. She is the kind of dog that makes you smile with her happy yet calm energy. She enjoys the company of people and other dogs & wags her tail with joy when she sees you. Her foster mom says: Vanna is a sweetheart. She gets along with other dogs and likes to play. She loves people and is very gentle. Vanna likes to hang out on the couch. She is calm and also curious. She would like to be part of a loving family that would include her in their activities.

Veronica

Sorry, no photo available until after the adoption day. Veronica is about 10 lbs and around 6 months old and has light golden color fur. She has a very sweet disposition. Great dog for family with older children due to her small size. This pup can be seen at our adoption day on Sunday 6/22 from 11 AM-1 PM at the Mamaroneck Veterinary Hospital, 649 Boston Post Road.She will not be available prior to the adoption day. Veronica

is a 1-2 year old Bichon/Poodle mix. At only 11 lbs, she's a great size to tote around town while running errands. In her foster home, she loves to find a comfortable lap and just settle in. She gets along well with other dogs, is spayed and appears house trained. Her foster home has a lot of experience and has deemed her "easy." If you have a lonely lap, Veronica will be happy to fill it! Photo coming soon.

Veto

Veto is too cute for words. He's a very sweet, easy going little guy with the most adorable little face. He's a small wire hair terrier mix about 10 lbs. of love and 1.5 years old. Veto loves to cuddle and plays well with the other dogs in the house and pays no attention to the cats. His energy level is low to medium. He rides well in the car and appears to be house and crated trained. He's neutered and UTD on his shots.

Victor

This boy is around 40 lbs and stunningly beautiful. He has been kept locked up in a basement for most of his life. He is now about 16 months old and would love to find a family to give him the love and affection he deserves.

Vinny

Vinny is sweet, outgoing and playful. He loves to run with other dogs and wrestle too. He is also gentle and loving. He is about 30 lbs and around 1-2 years old.

Violet

is a beautiful, fluffy Golden mix, about 10-14 weeks old and about 12 lbs. She is outgoing, playful and just adorable. She was abandoned with the Norfolk terriers and the poodle mixes. We don't know how big she will be since she still has all her puppy teeth. She might end up being quite a small dog. Either way, she is a very happy and outgoing girl. This is a great family dog for people with older children. She just loves to give kisses and be cuddled. Please fill out an adoption application.

Virginia

Virginia is a delightful bouncy, good natured 10 week old, 11 pound beagle mix, likely to be a medium size dog, has a wonderful life force. She loves to frolic, horse around, wrestle with and follow the foster family's larger dogs and would love to live where she has this opportunity. This little darling would thrive in a home where she's able to play and be outside in a fenced in yard and when she's tired, cuddle up in your lap or on her bed. A home that could match Virginia's beautiful spirit would be ideal. Virginia's mom is a 26 lb. pure bread, 12 inch beagle who delivered her babies during the rescue trip back from West Virginia.

Vixen

He is part of a litter of 5 puppies. They are all happy, lively and playful. He is about 25 lbs and 4 month old.
