Fabio is just the cutest little boy. He is just under 6 lbs and has very short little legs. He fits easily into your hand for pick up and loves to be carried around. He is very affectionate and loving.

Fairy is a sweet golden retriever/collie mix girl, about 3 1/2 months old and 10 lbs. She has all the loving, mellow personality of a golden but can still be shy around people. Our experience has found that dogs like this do best in a home where they can gain confidence from a doggie sibling to show them the ropes. Under the advice of our trainer, we will only adopt Fairy to a home with another dog. She is currently making great strides under the tutelage the other dogs in her foster home and becoming very affectionate with her foster parents. Fairy also gets along great with cats.

Faith

Faith is an adorable 9 week old pup weighing around 15 lbs. Joy, who is also listed, is her mom and she looks like a Setter/Bernese mix; we're not sure what breed her dad is. Faith is an adorable, quirky little Chihuahua mix, about a year old and around 15 lbs. Inside, she is a couch potato and easily entertains herself with chew bones and toys. She will follow you around and lies at your feet, on your lap or on your back when you're hanging out. She does like to sleep under the covers and will keep your warm on cold nights. If you decide to sleep in, she is fine with that and sleeps in too. Outside, she enjoys playing with toys, balls and we just discovered she likes splashing in water. She is very alert and attentive & sees every squirrel, bird or critter that crosses her path. For her size, she can be a bit strong on leash. She loves car rides and likes to sit in her foster moms lap for the journey. She loves to get attention from all people as she will run right up everyone with her tail wagging. She is a funny little girl! She is living in a foster home with cats and although she is fine with them, she would prefer to be a one and only pet. She likes all the attention on her and will bond closely with one person. She likes some dogs but not all. She can be a little mouthy especially when she's playing but it is not at all aggressive. She is cuddly, affectionate and house trained too.

Fancy came to her foster family with that name but anyone who meets her thinks she is a star so she has been renamed Fancy Starlet! She is a beautiful red pup, with feathered type fur on her ears. True to her star qualities she loves to be the center of attention and is always with her foster family. She also loves her food and will work for it learning new skills along the way. Fancy Starlet is great in the car, on a leash and at the park. She comes when called and is learning to sit. She is very energetic and would love to be part of an active family. As active as she can be she is totally calm when held in someone's arms or on a lap. Fancy Starlet is almost 4 months old.

Fawn is Amber and Lady's sister, about 4 months old. They are all girls and their mama is a small-medium sized dog, she is so sweet. We're guess these pups will be about 35 lbs, but we're not sure. They are all very sweet and adorable.

This mother and daughter pair are being given up due to a divorce and need to find a home ASAP. The mother, Fella, is about 2-3 years old and is brown with black. She looks like a Shepherd/Lab mix. Fetch

Fetch is a Rat Terrier mix, about three years old and 22 pounds. A typical terrier, Fetch is a feisty and fun loving little guy. He loves to rough house with the other dog in his foster home and loves going for runs in the park with his foster mom. True to his breed, Fetch is an expert “mouser.” His foster mom has horses so Fetch often accompanies her to the barn where he is very skilled at hunting mice! Fetch also seems to have an “off switch” and is happy to lounge on his bed and sleeps quietly through the night in his crate. He is a constant companion and loves to be with his foster family wherever they are in the house and to accompany them in the car. Fetch is housebroken and needs daily exercise and mental stimulation. Fetch is very sensitive and intelligent, and would likely excel at agility training. is a beautiful dog with an unusual coat -- she looks like a Golden with a wavy coat like a Flat-coated Retriever. She is about 3 or 4 years old and 72 lbs (she could lose a few). Sweet, friendly and playful, she loves everybody and can't get enough cuddling or petting. She has a curious nature and always wants to know what�s going on. Fiona is learning about leash-walking and bath-taking (it was a mess but boy is she clean now!). Flossie is a beautiful 9 month old, 25-lb snuggle bug who looks like a pint-sized lab. In a single day she figured out how to walk nicely on a leash and has thoroughly charmed all the residents of her neighborhood, both human and canine. When picked up, she will cling to you and bury her head in the crook of your arm and literally crawls toward a new person to meet them and get patted! Frances is a beautiful Chocolate Lab, about a year old and 71 lbs. She was living in a foster home with two newborn pups that were rejected by their mother. Frances immediately took the pups as her own and has been cleaning and cuddling them. She even lets them nurse even though she has no milk, it is so cute. Frances is fun, outgoing and loves to play. A wonderful mom and a wonderful dog!

is a wonderful girl, she is very affectionate and will bond quickly with her new parents. She is about 1 year old and around 36 lbs and full of love and affection. She has no tail and we don't know if somebody cut it off or if she was born that way. But we are sure she did not have a good life till now and would really appreciate a warm home with lots of love and affection. She has a ton to give in return. She is one of these real sweet dogs that will do well in almost any home. She is great with other dogs too.

Frankie

is an adorable girl, about 6-7 months old and 16 lbs. We are not sure of her breed. She has a beautiful red coat highlighted with black on her back and the most striking light blue eyes. She is just gorgeous! She was rescued from a shelter and is still timid and hand-shy. She startles easily and needs an understanding, patient and loving home to help her come out of her shell. She cannot be crated. She is living with other dogs and cats & likes to run and play with them. She would do best in a quiet home without young children. She is still working on her housebreaking. Frankie

Frankie is a handsome boy who is housetrained, up to date on all medical care and neutered. He walks well on a leash (does not pull) and has been "volunteering" as a therapy dog at a nursing home. He knows many commands and is clicker trained. Frankie is about 7-8 years old and 40 lbs. He has been living with a family since 2005. Unfortunately, Frankie did not adapt well when a new baby arrived on the scene. For that reason, he will not be placed in a home with very young (less than 15 years old) children. He would do best in a home with an experienced dog owner.

Frankie is about 9 months old and needs an adult only home with no other dogs. She is OK with cats. Her previous owner, who has another dog that she did not get along with, is willing to fence in the adopter�s yard as well as pay for a few private in-home training lessons. This is a wonderful dog for a home that does not have any other dogs or young children. She is loving and loyal.

Frankie is a fantastic little boy. He's a toy poodle -- about 3 years old and 8 pounds of pure love! This little guy is also very smart and learned how to sit very quickly. He walks well on the leash, gets along with the two other dogs in the house, and just loves to cuddle and play with toys! He also enjoyed going into the kitchen sink for a bath. If you're looking for a great companion that you can take with you anywhere, this little guy may be for you! Frankie would be great in a house or an apartment. Although small in stature, Franklin is big on personality. He is a pure breed Dachshund, about 3 years old and around 16 lbs. The best way to describe his personality is happy, happy, happy! Her sweet, playful nature and good looks have made her very popular at the dog park, where she has enchanted everyone (and their dogs!) with her gentle, affectionate disposition. Freckles is good in the car, walks well on a leash and loves to go for walks. She is eager to please and is coming along very nicely with her housetraining.

Freckles

Freckles is an adorable Cocker Spaniel female pup, about 8-9 weeks old and around 5-6 lbs. She has a parti-eye, meaning her right eye is part blue and part brown.

Fred

Fred is an adorable and cuddly Yorkie. He was rescued on the streets of South Carolina with two other Yorkies and arrived in NY terrified of people. Now after only a couple of weeks he is warming up and likes being held. Fred lives with other dogs and cats and is quite comfortable with everyone. He can be found most afternoons sunning himself in the yard or exploring all of the new scenery and vegetation. In the house, he loves to find a soft bed and watch what is happening around him. He is great in the car but still needs time to check out new places when he arrives at his destination. Fred is probably about 6 years old and up to date with his vaccinations. He appears to be housebroken. Fred needs a home with someone patient who will shower him with TLC -- no kids please.

Freddie

is one of the Beagle/Lab mix pups (Ernie & Henry's sibling). He is adorable, 8 weeks old and weighs about 13 lbs. He is the biggest of the litter and very sweet. He could live on your lap. Freddy is an adorable 5 month old Golden Retriever mix. He is very sweet and friendly and gets along well with cats and other dogs. Freddy is a little shy and will need a patient and quiet family (preferably with older kids) that can give him lots of love. Freddy would love to find a home with another dog or get regular visits to the dog park where he can play with other dogs. He is very calm for a puppy his age, loves to play fetch and enjoys his chew toys.

Frisbee is an adorable Cocker Spaniel male pup, about 8-9 weeks old and around 5-6 lbs.

Frisco

Frisco is a 14 month old mostly yellow lab mix. He is a very sweet dog that loves the company of people and other dogs. He adores children, although his size and vigorous tail waging, can be a problem for small children. He has boundless energy and requires a lot of exercise. He is eager to please, and has learned many commands; sit, down, stay, outside, paw, toy, hurry up (meaning go to the bathroom), no, crate, wait, give, come, and off. He will require reinforcement to obtain complete consistency. He is the perfect dog for someone who can spend time with him and enjoys an active life style. His passions are hikes in the woods, and swimming. He will love being included in as many of your activities as possible.

Frito

Frito is super sweet and friendly! She is a spaniel mix, about a year old and around 35 lbs. She is very friendly with people and other dogs, and greets everyone with kisses. She is all white with speckles of brown on her ears and around her nose.

is a 9-week old pup, weighing around 20 lbs. His mom was an American Water Spaniel, the dad a Chocolate Lab. He is a lively, playful and happy pup! He will be ready for adoption next weekend (1/17), but please submit an adoption application now.

Fudge is an adorable black Lab/Mix around 2yrs old and weighs around 30 lbs. His personality is so sweet you can't help but fall in love with him. He enjoys playing with other dogs,and chewing on his bones,and playing with his toys. He loves to go for rides in the car,and go for walks to the park. He is good on the leash. He is completely house broken. He has not been tested for being around children or cats.

Fuzzie

Fuzzie is an absolutely darling 10 week old puppy and around 6 lbs. She will be a fabulous family dog! She is one of our favorite of all the litters we have fostered. She has a golden undercoat and a light blackish overcoat which is shedding out -- she is getting much lighter in color than when we got her last week. She also has some waves in her coat and little cocker spaniel curls on her ears. Fuzzie loves to play, but also loves to cuddle. She can be running around in full play mode, but if you scoop her up, she snuggles right into your neck. Fuzzie will approach you to be picked up and will follow you around, although she also likes to do some exploring! She is very, very smart, is getting the hang of potty training and will often come when called. She sleeps from about 10pm to 6 or 7am. I cannot recommend this puppy enough -- she is adorable, smart, playful, and affectionate. Our family would definitely keep her if we did not already have so many dogs. This is an exceptional puppy!

Fuzzy (Dingo Houdini)

Fuzzy is about 6 months old and around 55 lbs. He still has quite some growing to do. He is calm but also shy in new situations. Like most large dog breeds, he has a nice and easy going personality. We would really like to see him in an adult home or a home with older kids due to his shyness.
