Adopt or Foster a Dog

Pet Rescue is dedicated to providing cats and dogs with a second chance to find loving and safe homes.
Dogs currently available for adoption are featured below. New animals are added as they become available.
You can help! Please share their profiles, because every adoption makes room for another deserving pet.

Please be sure to check the status of the dog you may be interested in adopting.  The status of a particular dog will be one of the following:

  • Adoptable - Dog has not yet been adopted out to a family although there may be applications that are still in the process of being evaluated.  In addition, following approval the applicant will meet the dog with their family to make sure it is a good fit.
  • Adoption Pending - Approved applicant has scheduled a meet and greet with the dog and an adoption seems likely.
  • Adopted- Dog has been adopted but will continue to remain our website for a short period of time following the actual adoption.

Please come meet our adoptable dogs at our Meet & Greet, every Saturday from 11:30am - 1:30pm at Pet Rescue, 7 Harrison Ave, Harrison NY 10528. Please call us with any questions you may have about our sweet dogs: 914-835-3332

A little About Noviembre...

Noviembre is a very sweet and adorable pup! He was surviving on the streets before coming to Pet Rescue and is reserved at first meeting but once he knows you, he warms up and is a total sweetheart. He's already housebroken, loves going on long walks, and gets along perfectly with other dogs... and even cats! Noviembre is an excellent listener, highly food motivated and he absolutely loves blueberries as treats after his meals. He is also quite the couch potato and would love to snuggle with you in bed, but he's also okay sleeping in his own bed on the floor next to yours. Noviembre's ideal home would be one that is calm and low-key with another playful dog and an enclosed yard. If you're looking to add some love and companionship to your life, come meet this cutie pie! Be sure to complete an application on line, and come to our Meet & Greet Saturday 11:30-1:30.
